US Camera of August 1953 featured a gorgeous young lady who they described as the 'Worlds Prettiest
Photographer'. Model and then Photographer Bunny Yeager had pushed convention aside and now knew she was as
good behind as she was in-front of the camera. At a time when 99 percent of glamour photographer was male she
made a statement about models that changed perceptions for ever more. |
| Bunny was never one to let others do her thinking. She made her own bikini's 'because she
could', she studied photography whilst modelling 'because it was fun'. Those two facts alone caused Roy Pinney
to consider extending Bunny's work for him as a model to featuring her versatility in his photo's and
subsequently in publications. Already a superb model it was that versatility which drew a wider audience and
much praise. |

Not wishing to forego modelling altogether Bunny continued in areas of work. She even perfected
use of a camera self-timer to publish Bunny taken by Bunny. Not easy even today, but so talented this even
resulted in a book called 'How I photograph my self' which included over 300 images. Even with other models in
the frame Bunny would ensure she could get a pose before the shutter clicked. |
